KNIT ONE MODULAR SEATING

FEATURES OVERVIEW

Where the Tejo Sofa reimagined traditional construction by replacing unsustainable components with cork, natural latex and wool, the Knit One Chair takes the concept even further by removing non-environmental materials altogether.

Inspired by the 3D knitting process, renowned for its zero-waste output, recycled material content and full recyclability, the Knit One Chair challenges expectations of contract seating. While 3D knitting is commonly used in task chairs, its application in modular, lounge-style seating is groundbreaking.

The Knit One system showcases a continuous, visually solid volume that mimics the softness and fullness of upholstered furniture while being made almost entirely of air and knit.

The fabric has been developed to feel opaque, textured and tactile, moving away from open mesh towards something more aligned with traditional upholstery. The ribbing design references stitched detailing in classic padded chairs while enhancing texture and structure.

The Knit One system comprises a lounge chair, a straight ottoman-style module, and an angled module, allowing users to create a range of layouts. The system is fully reversible, with each element designed to function in both directions for ultimate flexibility. A bolt-on solid wood side table completes the collection, integrating utility with elegance.

Constructed on a lightweight metal frame designed for flat-pack shipping and local assembly, the Knit One Chair answers one of the contract industry's greatest logistical challenges: how to move large-scale furniture with minimal environmental footprint.
